Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.患者の身体の内部の身体の組織を刺激するシステムであって、 それぞれが前記患者の身体の植込みのため構成されたハウジングを含み、それ らの少なくとも1つが身体組織を刺激する1以上の制御可能な動作パラメータに 従って動作可能な回路を含む複数のアドレスで呼出し可能な装置と、 アドレス記憶手段、データ信号送信機及びデータ信号受信機を含む各前記アド レスで呼出し可能な装置と、 前記制御可能な動作パラメータを制御するため前記患者の身体に植込むように 構成されたハウジングを含むシステムコントロールユニットと、 を含み、 前記システムコントロールユニットが、 前記アドレスで呼び出し可能な装置の少なくとも1つを識別するアドレ ス情報及び識別されたアドレスで呼び出し可能な装置の動作パラメータを制御す るため動作パラメータ情報を含む命令信号を送信するための前記コントロールユ ニットハウジングの信号送信機と、 前記コントロールユニット信号送信機による前記アドレスで呼出し可能 な装置への送信用命令信号を生成するための前記コントロールユニットハウジン グのプログラム可能なコントローラと、 前記コントロールユニット信号送信機、信号受信機、及びプログラム可 能なコントローラに動作電力を供給するための前記コントロールユニットハウジ ングの電源と、 を含み、 前記電源が少なくとも1ワット時の容量を有している、 ことを特徴とするシステム。 2.前記コントロールユニットが一連の動作を形成するプログラムを記憶する記 憶手段を更に含み、 前記プログラム可能なコントローラが前記プログラムにより形成された一連の 動作を実行するように動作する請求項1に記載のシステム。 3.プログラム情報を生成するため前記患者の身体の外部に配置されたプログラ マーと、 前記記憶手段の内容を修正するため前記外部に生成されたプログラム情報に応答 する手段と、 を更に含む請求項2に記載のシステム。 4.前記プログラム記憶手段が変更可能な部分と変更不可能な部分を含み、 前記変更不可能な部分がデフォルトプログラムを記憶する請求項3に記載のシ ステム。 5.前記プログラム情報に応答する前記手段が調整した代わりの磁界を生成する 手段を含む請求項3に記載のシステム。 6.少なくとも1つの前記アドレスで呼び出し可能な装置が刺激装置モード、セ ンサモード、及びトランスポンダーモードを含む1以上のモードで動作可能であ り、 前記アドレスで呼び出し可能な装置が1以上の動作モードを形成する前記コン トロールユニット送信機からの命令信号に応答する請求項1に記載のシステム。 7.少なくとも1つの前記アドレスで呼び出し可能な装置が前記装置信号送信機 を介してデータ信号を送信用の命令信号に応答する手段を含み、 前記プログラム可能なコントローラが前記コントロールユニット信号送信機に よる送信用の命令信号を形成するため受信データ信号に応答する請求項1に記載 のシステム。 8.前記コントロールユニット電源が電池を含み、 前記電池に充電電流を供給するため前記コントロールユニットハウジングに配 置された内部コイルと充電回路を更に含む請求項1に記載のシステム。 9.前記内部コイルを介して前記充電回路にエネルギーを供給するため前記患者 の身体の外側に代わりの磁界を発生する手段を更に含む請求項8に記載のシステ ム。 10.前記コントロールユニットハウジングは軸方向の寸法が60mm以下で、 横方向の寸法が6mm以下である請求項1に記載のシステム。 11.前記電池が少なくとも1マイクロワット時の容量を有する請求項2に記載 のシステム。 12.前記アドレスの呼出し可能な装置がそれぞれ装置のハウジングの外部に延 びる電極を含み、 前記装置回路は前記電極に駆動パルス列を供給するように動作可能である請求 項1に記載のシステム。 13.少なくとも1つの前記アドレスで呼出し可能な装置が前記回路に電力を供 給するための電池を含む請求項1に記載のシステム。 14.少なくとも1つのアドレスで呼び出し可能な装置信号送信機がそこの電池 の充電状態を示す状態信号を送信する請求項12に記載のシステム。 15.少なくとも1つの前記アドレスで呼出し可能な装置ハウジングは軸方向の 寸法が60mm以下で、横方向の寸法が6mm以下であり、少なくとも1つのマ イクロワット時の容量を有する電池を含む請求項12に記載のシステム。 16.患者の身体のパラメータを監視すると共にそれに作用するシステムであっ て、 それぞれが前記患者の身体の植込みのため構成された複数のアドレスで呼び出 し可能な装置と、 前記電極に駆動信号を供給するための回路を制御可能な入力/出力電極を含む 各前記アドレスで呼び出し可能な装置、識別アドレスを記憶する手段、及び信号 送信機/受信機手段と、 前記制御可能な回路を制御する前記装置送信機/受信機手段に命令を送信する 手段を含み、前記命令が1以上の前記装置の識別アドレスを特定するアドレス情 報及び識別装置の制御可能な回路の動作パラメータを制御するパラメータ情報を 含む、前記患者の身体の植込みのため構成されたシステムコントロールユニット と、 前記システムコントロールユニットにより送信された前記命令を制御するため 前記アドレスで呼び出し可能な装置により送信されたデータ信号に応答するコン トローラ手段を含む前記システムコントローラと、 前記コントロールユニット送信手段とコントローラ手段に動作電力を供給する ため少なくとも1ワット時の容量を有する前記システムコントロールユニットに 含まれた電源と、 を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 17.前記コントロールユニットが一連の動作を形成するプログラムを記憶する 記憶手段を更に含み、 前記コントローラ手段が前記プログラムにより形成された一連の動作を実行す るように動作可能なプログラム可能なコントローラを含む請求項16に記載のシ ステム。 18.プログラム情報を生成するため前記患者の身体の外部に配置されたプログ ラマーと、 前記記憶手段の内容を修正するため前記外部に生成されたプログラム情報に応 答する手段とを更に含む請求項17に記載のシステム。 19.前記プログラム記憶手段が変更可能部分と変更不可能部分を含み、 前記変更不可能部分がデフォルトプログラムを記憶する請求項18に記載のシ ステム。 20.前記プログラム情報に応答する前記手段が調整した代わりの磁界を生成す るための手段を含む請求項18に記載のシステム。 21.前記システムコントロールユニットの電源が電池を含み、前記電池に充電 電流をを供給するための内部コイルと充電回路を更に含む請求項16に記載のシ ステム。 22.前記内部コイルを介して前記充電回路にエネルギーを供給するため前記患 者の身体の外側に代わりの磁界を発生するための手段を更に含む請求項21に記 載のシステム。
