Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.複数のキャパシティセンサーを含んだキャパシティセンサーアレイであっ て、各該センサーは誘電基板の片面に形成された2体の隣接電極を含んでおり、 乗員の存在またはポジションを検出するためにオプションとして各該キャパシテ ィセンサーは車両のシート、フロア、ドアパネル、ダッシュボード、ルーフ、ル ーフ指示体、あるいはハンドル部に設置されていることを特徴とするキャパシテ ィセンサーアレイ。 2.車両のエアバッグシステムまたは他の安全装置のための信号装置であって 、電圧しきい値を含んでおり、該電圧しきい値は、誘電基板の片面に形成された 2体式隣接電極で構成されたキャパシティセンサーによって創出される出力電圧 の範囲から選択されるものであり、該電圧範囲は、センサーフィールドが人体の 接近で影響を受けないときの最大値から、人体が前記キャパシティセンサーに接 近したときの最低値までの連続電圧値であることを特徴とする信号装置。 3.誘電基板の片面に形成された2体式隣接電極を備えた複数のキャパシティ センサーを含んだキャパシティセンサーアレイであって、車両のシートヘッドレ ストに対する乗員の頭部ポジションを検出するように車両に設置され、シートヘ ッドレストポジションを調整するための調整手段に接続されており、乗員の頭部 に対するヘッドレストの最適ポジションを達成させることを特徴とするキャパシ ティセンサーアレイ。 4.3体以上の近接度センサーから取得された近接度値を参照して車両乗員の 頭部ポジションを判定する装置であって、該センサーと該頭部ポジションの幾何 学的相対関係を利用するものであり、オプションとして前記近接度値の調整機能 を備え、頭部表面近接ポイントと頭部内部ポイントとの間の相違を調整し、オプ ションとして、乗員の変調の検出、危険ポジションに存在することによる乗員の 危険度の検出、あるいは所定の頭部移動による車両機能のコントロールの提供に 利用されることを特徴とする装置。 5.車両の運転手の変調を検出する装置であって、車両モーションと運転手の 頭部モーションとの位相のずれを検出する手段を含んでいることを特徴とする装 置。 6.キャパシティセンサーと重量センサーとを併用する車両乗員センサーシス テムであって、該キャパシティセンサーは誘電基板の片面に形成された2体式隣 接電極を含んでおり、オプションとして、該キャパシティセンサーはルーフ、ダ ッシュボード及び/又はシート内に設置され、オプションとして、前記重量セン サーはシート内に設置されることを特徴とする乗員センサーシステム。 7.乗員センサーシステムとエアバッグ膨張手段とを含んだ車両エアバッグシ ステムであって、該乗員センサーシステムはルーフに隣接して設置されたキャパ シティセンサーを含んでおり、オプションとして、乗員の重量を検出する重量セ ンサー手段を含んでおり、前記エアバッグ膨張手段は、前記キャパシティセンサ ーが乗員の存在を示す信号を出力し、前記重量センサー手段から乗員の存在を示 す信号を受信すると作動に備えることを特徴とするエアバッグシステム。 8.誘電基板の片面に形成された複数の電極を含んだキャパシティセンサーで あって、該電極は接地領域によって分離されており、前記基板は前記片面とは反 対側の基板面に接地領域をさらに含んでおり、該反対面の接地領域は前記電極を 分離する前記接地領域と電気的に接続されていることを特徴とするキャパシティ センサー。 9.前記基板は方形の少なくとも2本の隣接辺の全長あるいは一部をカバーし ていることを特徴とする請求項8記載のキャパシティセンサー。 10.誘電材料の片面に形成された少なくとも2体の隣接電極と、該電極と電気 的に接続されている電子部品とを含んだキャパシティセンサーであって、該電子 部品は前記誘電材料の前記片面とは反対側の面、あるいは該誘電材料に接着され た別体の誘電材料上に提供されていることを特徴とするキャパシティセンサー。
