Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 酸型再結合バッテリーの電極間で使用するバッテリーセパレータ、熱結合 した溶融吹き付け熱可塑性ポリマー繊維の非圧縮マットであり、該繊維のうち10 %以上が直径1ミクロン未満、該繊維のうち60%以上が直径5ミクロン未満であ り、表面積が1m2/gを超える該繊維、90%以上が液体有孔性、ガスを伝達するた め酸液を充填した後でおよそ5ないし15%の空隙体積をもつ該マット、酸で湿潤 性を与えるために薬剤で処理した該繊維、該酸性液を完全に吸収する該セパレー タからなる再結合バッテリーセパレータ。 2. 請求項1のバッテリーセパレータにおいて、該薬剤が該繊維に共有結合さ れるもの。 3. 請求項1のバッテリーセパレータにおいて、該薬剤が該繊維内に保持され るもの。 4. 請求項1のバッテリーセパレータにおいて、該マットが直径1ミクロン未 満のポリマー繊維を15%超含むもの。 5. 請求項1のバッテリーセパレータにおいて、該ポリマーがポリプロピレン であるもの。 6. 請求項5のバッテリーセパレータにおいて、該ポリプロピレンのMWDが1.0 ないし3.5であるメタロセン・ポリプロピレンであるもの。 7. 請求項1のバッテリーセパレータにおいて、該薬剤が該ポリマー繊維に化 学結合させた親水性ポリマーであるもの。 8. 請求項7のバッテリーセパレータにおいて、該親水性ポリマーが光反応性 であるもの。 9. 請求項7のバッテリーセパレータにおいて、該薬剤がポリビニル・ピロリ ジンであるもの。 10. 請求項7のバッテリーセパレータにおいて、該薬剤がポリアクリルアミ ドであるもの。
