Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.式: [式中、R1はC1−C11アルキル、C1−C11−R1aアルキルまたはR1a−(リ ンカー(0 または1)−R1a)0 または1(ここに、R1aはそれぞれ独立してフェニル 、またはそれぞれ独立してハロ、ヒドロキシ、C1−C8低級アルキル、C1−C8 低級アルコキシ、C1−C4低級アルキルチオまたはトリフルオロメチルである1 つまたは2つの置換分によって置換されているフェニルであり、「リンカー」は −O−、−CH2−または−O−(CH2)n−(ここに、nは1−3である)で ある)を表し; R2は水素または式: [式中、R2aは水素または−CH2−R1(式中、R1は上記定義のとおりであり 、N1位のR1と同一または異なっていてよい)である] で示されるエピバンコサミニル基を表し、;ならびに、 R3は式: [式中、R3aは水素であるか、あるいはR2がエピバンコサミニルであり、その 上のR2aが−CH2−R1である場合、R3aはN1位のものと同一の−CH2−R1 でもあり得る] で示されるエピバンコサミニル基を表す] で示される化合物または製薬的に許容されるその塩。 2.R1が上記定義のR1a−(リンカー(0 または1)−R1a)0 または1である請 求項1に記載の化合物。 3.R2が、R2aが−CH2−R1であるエピバンコサミニル基である請求項1 に記載の化合物。 4.R2aがp−フェニルベンジルである請求項3に記載の化合物。 5.R2aがp−(p−クロロフェニル)ベンジルである請求項3に記載の化合 物。 6.請求項1に記載の化合物を、製薬的に許容される希釈剤または担体と組み 合わせて含む医薬製剤。 7.宿主内の細菌感染を処置する方法であって、請求項6に記載の製剤の有効 量を該宿主に投与する工程を含む方法。 8.細菌感染がバンコマイシン耐性エンテロコッカスに起因する請求項7に記 載の方法。 9.式:R1CHO(式中、R1は請求項1で定義したとおりである)で示され るアルデヒドを用いて、式:[式中、R2は請求項1で定義したとおりである] で示される親グリコペプチドを還元的アルキル化し、所望であれば、その後製薬 的に許容される塩を形成させることを含む請求項1に記載の化合物の製造方法。
