Transformer / reactor and method of manufacturing transformer / reactor
The present invention relates to a transformer / reactor comprising an iron core and at least one winding.
You.
The invention also relates to a method for use in manufacturing this transformer / reactor.
Transformers / reactors are available for all powers from a few watts to 1000 MW class
It is. The term "power transformer / reactor" is generally from a few hundred kW
Rated output of 1000 MW or more and from 3 to 4 kV to ultra-high voltage transmission voltage
A transformer having a rated voltage.
Conventional power transformers are laminated directional sheet metal (typically ferrosilicon) transformers.
An iron core (hereinafter referred to as an iron core) is provided. The core is made up of many iron legs connected to the yoke
Consists of Many windings are located around the iron leg, typically a primary winding, secondary winding
They are called windings and adjustment windings. For power transformers, such windings are almost always
It is always formed in concentric circles and is distributed along the iron leg. Transformer core is wound
Has a rectangular "window" through which it passes. This rectangular window mainly has an iron core
It can be said that this is the result of the generation technology used when the layers are stacked.
The use of transformer cores with different shapes, for example DE 40414, US 2 446 999, GB 2 025
150, US Pat. No. 3,792,399, US Pat. No. 4,229,721. Some of these references
Discloses an iron core composed of segments. However, these documents do not
Nothing is suitable for power transformers and, as explained below,
Is like this
Not applicable to transformers.
Conventional power transformers at the lower end of the power range mentioned above are unavoidable in the form of heat.
Air cooling is often provided to eliminate losses. But most power
Transformers are oil cooled and typically use pressurized oil cooling. This is especially for high voltage transformers
Applies to vessels. Oil-cooled transformers are known for a number of disadvantages. In these cases,
Large, unwieldy and heavy, which can be very problematic,
And the demands on peripheral devices increase.
However, oil-cooled power transformers are, to a large extent, new types of dry transformers.
It is shown that it can be replaced by a pressurer. This new dry type transformer is
Windings with high voltage cables (ie high voltage insulated electrical conductors) are provided
You. Therefore, dry transformers use much higher power ratings than previously possible
be able to. Thus, the expressions "dry transformer" and "dry reactor"
This applies to transformers / reactors that are preferably air cooled rather than oil cooled.
As for the reactor (inductor), usually an iron with only one winding
Prepare your heart. Otherwise, what has been said above with respect to transformers has substantially
Equivalent to reactor. It should be especially noted that large reactors are also oil cooled.
It is.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a power transformer / rear that is conventionally designed as described herein.
A transformer or reactor that can eliminate some of the disadvantages inherent in
To provide and further use in the manufacture of such transformers / reactors.
Is to provide a way to
The object is to use a transformer / reactor having the features defined in claim 1.
And the features defined in claim 25
This is achieved by using a transformer / reactor manufacturing method according to the features.
According to a first feature of claim 1, the iron core consists of at least two segments
. A corresponding method produces a core having at least two segments.
Including features. The expression "segment" or "segmented iron core"
, The transformer / reactor cores form substantially identical segments, or cores
Means that they are made from parts that are joined together in parallel
You.
Numerous benefits are gained by cores made from segments. First, the ratio
Even relatively large iron cores can be made in a substantially annular shape, the shape of which is described below.
Provides significant benefits to be described.
Second, a simple construction of the iron core is possible because each segment can be individually wound
.
A third advantage of the segmented core is that the core can be disassembled at any time during manufacture.
Or it can be assembled.
Cores in the form of modules with one or more segments each
Therefore, advantages can be obtained from a manufacturing point of view. Iron core in segments
Can be transported and also assembled at the place to be used
As such, this offers significant advantages in terms of transport as well. If necessary, change the winding
It can also be wound in place.
According to a further feature of claim 1, the winding is flexible and the winding is inner half.
An electrically conductive core surrounded by the conductive layer, and a solid material surrounding the inner semiconductive layer.
And an outer semiconductor layer surrounding the insulating layer, and these layers adhere to each other.
Have been. According to a further feature of the method, the method is defined in claim 1.
Winding on iron core
Is mounted on the iron core.
Therefore, transformer / reactor windings according to the present invention have recently been used for power distribution.
Cables with solid extrusion insulation of the type known, for example XLPE cables or
Is suitable if it is a type corresponding to a cable having EPR insulation. this
Such cables have an inner conductor composed of one or more strands and a
Inner semiconducting layer surrounding the conductor, solid insulating layer surrounding it, and outer surrounding the insulating layer
A semiconductive layer. Although this cable is flexible, this is not described here.
This is an important feature. Because the technology for the device according to the invention is
, Mainly based on winding systems, in which the windings are
This is because it is formed from a bent (curved) cable. XLPE cable
The flexibility of the cable is usually about 20 cm for a cable with a diameter of 30 mm.
Radius of curvature, for a cable with a diameter of 80 mm, a radius of curvature of approximately 65 cm,
Is equivalent to Thus, in this application, the term "flexible" refers to the diameter of the cable.
Bend the winding with a radius of curvature of 4 times, preferably 8 to 12 times the diameter of the cable
Means
Windings maintain their properties when bent or subjected to thermal stress during operation
Should be configured to In this specification, the layers are referred to as mutually adhesive (adhe
is important. The material properties of the layer, in particular,
The properties and relative coefficients of thermal expansion are important here. For XLPE cable, for example
For example, the insulating layer may be made of low-density cross-linked polyethylene, and the semiconductive layer may have
soot) and polyethylene impregnated with iron particles. As a result of temperature fluctuations
Volume fluctuations are completely absorbed as a change in cable radius and the elasticity of these materials
Since the difference in thermal expansion coefficient related to the properties is relatively small, adhesion between the layers may be lost.
Radial expansion
You can live.
The above material combinations should be taken as examples only. Specified
Another combination that satisfies the state and the state being semiconductive, ie, 10-1-106
resistivity in the range of ohm-cm, such as 1-500 ohm-cm or 10-20
Combinations having a resistivity in the range of 0 ohm-cm also naturally fall within the scope of the invention.
Things.
The insulating layer is made of, for example, low concentration polyethylene (LDPE), high concentration polyethylene (LDPE).
HDPE), polypropylene (PP), polybutylene (PB), polymethyl pen
Solid thermoplastic material such as tongue ("TPX"), cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
Cross-linked materials such as ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) or silicone rubber
It may be made of rubber such as rubber.
The inner semiconducting layer and the outer semiconducting layer may be made of the same basic material,
Have particles mixed with a conductive material such as metal powder.
The mechanical properties of these materials, especially the coefficient of thermal expansion,
(At least in the proportions necessary to obtain the conductivity required by the present invention)
Has little or no relative effect. Therefore, the insulating layer and the semiconductive layer
Have substantially the same coefficient of thermal expansion.
Ethylene-vinyl acetate resin / nitrile rubber (EVA / NBR), butyl graph
Polyethylene, ethylene-butyl acrylate resin (EBA), and ethylene-
Ethyl acrylate resin (EEA) can also constitute a suitable polymer for the semiconductive layer.
You.
Thermal expansion, even when different types of materials are used for the base in the various layers
It is desired that the coefficients be substantially the same. this is,
This is the case with the combinations listed above.
The materials listed above have E <500 MPa, preferably E <200 MPa

FIG. 6 shows a cross-sectional view of the high-voltage cable.
The basic diagram of the present invention that constitutes a first embodiment is schematically shown in FIG. This figure
In this example, a transformer core 1 is illustrated, and this transformer core is equivalent to a reactor core.
If necessary, the winding 2 is provided through a substantially circular window 5. Iron core
Is made up of a relatively large number of segments 4, of which only one
Control numbers are used. The segments are preferably the same, but this is
That is an advantage. However, it is somewhat different if appropriate
Is also good. Although this figure shows 18 segments, each segment has many pre-
