Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.放射ビーム(20)を所与のビーム方向に提供する放射システム(10)に おいて使用するためのマルチリーフコリメータ(12)であって、 複数の放射遮断リーフ(32)の第1の層(30)を含み、前記リーフ(32 )は隣接して位置づけられたリーフ(32)の2つの対向する列を形成するよう に互いに隣接して配置され、かつリーフ(32)の対向する端部間に放射ビーム 整形フィールド(36)を規定するようにビーム方向に対して一般に横断方向で ある長さ方向(Y)(34)に可動であり、前記コリメータはさらに、 複数の放射遮断リーフ(42)第2の層(40)を含み、前記第2の層(40 )の前記リーフ(42)は隣接して位置づけられたリーフ(42)の2つの対向 する列を形成するように互いに隣接して配置され、かつ前記第2の層(40)の リーフ(42)の対向する端部間に放射ビーム整形フィールド(46)を規定す るようにビーム方向に対して一般に横断方向である交差方向(X)(44)に可 動であり、さらに前記長さ方向(Y)(34)に対して角度をつけられ、前記コ リメータはさらに、 前記第1の層(30)の前記リーフを長さ方向(Y)(34)に動かしかつ前 記第2の層(40)の前記リーフ(42)を交差方向(X)(44)に動かすた めのアクチュエータ装置(38、48)を含み、前記第1の層(30)および第 2の層(40)はビーム方向に重なり合う態様で順に配置されるマルチリーフコ リメータ(12)。 2.間隙(52)が一般にビーム方向に対して横断方向にかつ一般にXおよびY 方向(34、44)の面に形成され、前記間隙(52)の各々が予め定められた しきい値未満の量の放射しかそこを通さない、請求項1に記載のマルチリーフコ リメータ(12)。 3.前記交差方向(44)が前記長さ方向に対して一般に直交している、請求項 1に記載のマルチリーフコリメータ(12)。 4.前記第1の層(30)の前記リーフ(32)および前記第2の層(40)の 前記リーフ(42)が枠(50)内に収められる、請求項1に記載のマルチリー フコリメータ(12)。 5.放射ビーム(20)を前記所与のビーム方向で提供するための放射源(19 )を含む、請求項1に記載のマルチリーフコリメータ(12)。 6.前記放射ビーム(20)によって照射された標的(37)の像を映すための 撮像装置(25)を含む、請求項1に記載のマルチリーフコリメータ(12)。 7.いずれかのリーフ(32、42)が移動するのを監視し、かつ前記アクチュ エータ装置(38、48)に前記リーフ(32、42)が動くのを止めるように 信号を与える、光学制御装置(54)を含む、請求項1に記載のマルチリーフコ リメータ(12)。 8.放射遮断リーフ(32)の複数の前記第1の層(30)を含む、請求項1に 記載のマルチリーフコリメータ(12)。 9.放射遮断リーフ(42)の複数の前記第2の層(40)を含む、請求項1に 記載のマルチリーフコリメータ(12)。
