Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.第一及び第二シート部材を具備する電気化学式電池であって、前記シート 部材の少なくとも一方は、一つ以上の平らな電極が配置されたガス透過性部分を 有し、前記第一及び第二シート部材の周囲部は、電解質を収納する収納部を形成 するように共に密着され、前記シート部材の少なくとも一方は、外部電気接続の ために各前記電極から延在して前記シート部材の密着部を横断する電気接続手段 を有している電気化学式電池。 2.前記第一及び第二シート部材の間に配置された第三シート部材を有する請 求項1に記載の電池。 3.第二収納部を区画形成するために、前記第一及び第二シート部材へ接着さ れた周囲領域を有する第三シート部材を有する請求項1に記載の電池。 4.前記第一シート部材は、それ上に形成された電極を有する平らな多孔性P TFEから成り、前記第二シート部材は、可撓なプラスチックシートから成る請 求項1から3のいずれかに記載の電池。 5.第一、第二、及び第三電極が、前記一方のシート部材に形成され、並んで 配置されている請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の電池。 6.前記電池は、ガスセンサを作動させるための電気回路手段と共に、強固な 平らな基質部材上に取り付けられる請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の電池。 7.それぞれに第一及び第二シート部材を有する複数の部分から形成される電 気化学式電池であって、各前記シート部材は、平らな電極が配置されたガス透過 性領域を有し、前記第一及び第二シート部材の周囲部は、電解質を収納する収納 部を形成するために共に密 着され、各前記シート部材は、外部電気接続のために各前記電極から延在して前 記シート部材の密着部を横断する電気接続手段を有し、前記組立体は、前記第一 及び第二シート部材のそれぞれに接触するように、各前記部分へ第一及び第二ガ スを導くためのマニホルド手段を有する電池。 8.各前記シート部材は、PTFEシートから成る請求項7に記載の電池。 9.前記第一及び第二シート部材は、矩形行列又は単一列として配置された多 重の燃料電池要素を区画形成する請求項7又は8に記載の電池。 10.前記燃料電池の部分は、互いに重ねて配置され、前記各部分は、燃料電 池の行列又は単一列を有し、前記単一列は、前記列内の隣接電池が互いに重ねて 配置されるように折り重ねられる請求項9に記載の電池。 11.燃料電池の部分は、互いに重ねて配置される請求項7又は8に記載の電 池。 12.前記各部分は強固なスペーサ手段を有し、前記スペーサ手段は、各燃料 電池要素の片側に、ガスを導くためのマニホルドを提供する請求項7から10の いずれかに記載の電池。 13.前記マニホルド手段は、第一及び第二ガスを異なる方向から各燃料電池 要素の対向側に導くように配置されている請求項7から12のいずれかに記載の 電池。 14.前記第一及び第二シート部材は、圧力及び熱の使用によって共に接着さ れる請求項1から13のいずれかに記載の電池。 15.前記電極は、前記電気接続手段を区画形成するために、前記シート部材 の共に密着される部分を通り延在する部分を有する請求項1から14に記載の電 池。 16.前記電解質は、液体の形状であり、芯部材構造内に保持され、又は、ゲ ル又はポリマーの形状であり、前記電極の表面に付着される請求項1から15に 記載の電池。
