Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも3つのβシート/βターン構造と架橋に関与することができる 少なくとも1つのアミノ酸残基とを含み、天然に存在する繊維状タンパク質でな いポリペプチド。 2.βシート構造の各々が3個から約7個のアミノ酸残基を含む請求項1に記 載のポリペプチド。 3.βシート構造の各々が約5個から約7個のアミノ酸残基を含む請求項2に 記載のポリペプチド。 4.図1Bに示されるアミノ酸配列の部分から本質的になる請求項1に記載の ポリペプチド。 5.それぞれ図1Bのアミノ酸残基374〜499、19〜160、188〜 367及び607〜717からなる群から選択されるアミノ酸配列を含む請求項 4に記載のポリペプチド。 6.図1Bに示すアミノ酸配列の部分が1個から約10個のアミノ酸残基の付 加、欠失又は置換により修飾されている請求項4に記載のポリペプチド。 7.図1Bに示すアミノ酸配列の部分の縦列繰返しを含む請求項4に記載のポ リペプチド。 8.図4Cに示すアミノ酸配列から本質的になる請求項7に記載のポリペプチ ド。 9.1個から約10個のアミノ酸残基の付加、欠失又は置換により修飾されて いる図4Cに示すアミノ酸配列から本質的になる請求項7に記載のポリペプチド 。 10.表面が請求項4に記載のポリペプチドで被覆された動物材料を含む補て つ物。 11.表面が請求項4に記載のポリペプチドで被覆された合成材料を含む補て つ物。 12.表面が請求項4に記載のポリペプチドで被覆された金属を含む補てつ物 。 13.請求項4に記載のポリペプチドから本質的になるヒトへの移植に適した 材料。 14.血管置換用材料、心臓弁置換用材料、熱傷被覆用材料、創傷被覆用材料 及びステントからなる群から選択される請求項13に記載の材料。 15.請求項4に記載のポリペプチドを含む化粧品材料。 16.請求項1に記載のポリペプチドを含む弾性材料。 17.請求項1に記載のポリペプチドを含む高引張強度材料。 18.動物のエラスチンのアミノ酸配列の部分から本質的になる請求項1に記 載のポリペプチド。 19.ラムプリンのアミノ酸配列の部分から本質的になる請求項1に記載のポ リペプチド。 20.クモのシルクプロテインのアミノ酸配列の部分から本質的になる請求項 1に記載のポリペプチド。 21.(A)少なくとも3つのβシート/βターン構造を含む図1Bに示すア ミノ酸配列の部分から本質的になるポリペプチドと、 (B)少なくとも3つのβシート/βターン構造を含む動物のエラスチンのアミ ノ酸配列の部分から本質的になるポリペプチドと、 (C)少なくとも3つのβシート/βターン構造を含むラムプリンのアミノ酸配 列の部分から本質的になるポリペプチドと、 (D)少なくとも3つのβシート/βターン構造を含むクモのシルクプロテイン のアミノ酸配列の部分から本質的になるポリペプチドと からなる群から選択した2つ又はそれ以上のポリペプチドを含み、2つ又はそれ 以上の該ポリペプチドが同じであっても又は異なっていてよいポリペプチドを含 む材料。 22.2つ又はそれ以上のポリペプチドの混合物を含む請求項21に記載の材 料。 23.2つ又はそれ以上のポリペプチドを含む融合タンパク質を含む請求項2 1に記載の材料。 24.2つ又はそれ以上のポリペプチドが相互に化学結合している請求項21 に記載の材料。 25.(A)ポリペプチドが架橋に関与することができるすくなとも1つのア ミノ酸残基を含み、(B)βシート/βターン構造の各々が3個から約7個のア ミノ酸残基を含み、(C)ポリペプチドが天然に存在する繊維状タンパク質でな いことを特徴とする、天然に存在する繊維状タンパク質の一部の一次構造と少な くとも3つのβシート/βターン構造とを含む二次構造を有するポリペプチド。 26.少なくとも3つのβシート/βターン構造と架橋に関与することができ る少なくとも1つの第一のアミノ酸残基とを含む、天然に存在する繊維状タンパ ク質でない第一のポリペプチドと、 少なくとも3つのβシート/βターン構造と架橋に関与することができるすく なとも1つの第二のアミノ酸残基とを含む、天然に存在する繊維状タンパク質で ない第二のポリペプチドと を含んでなる材料であって、 第一のポリペプチドは第二のポリペプチドと同じものであっても、又は、異な っていてよく、 第一のアミノ酸残基が第二のアミノ酸残基との架橋に関与できるように、第一 及び第二のポリペプチドが整列していことを特徴とする材料。 27.第一のアミノ酸残基が第二のアミノ酸残基と酵素的に架橋している請求 項26に記載の材料。
