- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ポリオレフィン配向ポリマー繊維集成体を圧縮工程にかけ、そこにおいて 該ポリマーの一部分を溶融させるのに十分な高温で該繊維集成体を緊密接触状態 に保ち、そして圧縮する一体構造物品の製造法であって、該圧縮工程に先立って 該繊維を架橋プロセスにかけることを特徴とする方法。 2.該圧縮工程が2つの異なる工程、すなわち第一の接触圧力において該繊維 の一部分を溶融させるのに十分な高温で該繊維集成体を緊密接触状態に保つ工程 、および該集成体に該接触圧力よりも高い第2の圧縮圧力をかける次の圧縮工程 を含む請求項1記載の方法。 3.該圧縮工程が一定圧力および該繊維の一部分を溶融させるのに十分な高温 において該繊維集成体を緊密接触状態に保つ単一工程を含む請求項1記載の方法 。 4.該架橋プロセスが、該繊維に電離放射線を照射することを含むイオン化工 程に次いで、該照射ポリマーを高温においてアニールすることを含むアニール工 程を包含する放射線架橋法である請求項1記載の方法。 5.該照射工程が、酸素ガスを実質的に含まず、そしてアルキン類、および少 なくとも2個の二重結合を有するアルケン類から選ばれるモノマー化合物を含む 環境中で行われる請求項4記載の方法。 6.前記環境がアセチレンを含む請求項5記載の方法。 7.照射に続く該アニール工程を、酸素ガスを実質的に含まず、そしてアルキ ン類、および少なくとも2個の二重結合を有するアルケン類から選ばれるモノマ ー化合物を含む環境中で行う請求項4記載の方法。 8.前記環境がアセチレンを含む請求項7記載の方法。 9.該プロセスに用いられる該繊維を溶融ポリマーから生成させる請求項1記 載の方法。 10.該繊維が10,000から400,000の範囲の重量平均分子量を有 する請求項1記載の方法。 11.該繊維が50,000から200,000の範囲の重量平均分子量を有 する請求項10記載の方法。 12.該ポリオレフィンポリマーがポリプロピレンのホモポリマー、かなりの 比率のポリプロピレンを含有するコポリマー、ポリエチレンのホモポリマー、お よびかなりの比率のポリエチレンを含有するコポリマーからなる群から選ばれる 請求項1記載の方法。 13.該照射工程を100℃を超えない温度で行う請求項4記載の方法。 14.該照射工程を0−50℃の範囲の温度で行う請求項13記載の方法。 15.該電離放射線が電子線、紫外線およびガンマ線から選ばれる請求項4記 載の方法。 16.該放射線量が0.5から100メガラドの範囲にある請求項4記載の方 法。 17.該放射線量が2から20メガラドの範囲にある請求項16記載の方法。 18.該ポリオレフィンポリマーを少なくとも60℃の温度でアニールする請 求項4記載の方法。 19.該照射およびアニール工程後の該ポリオレフィンポリマーが少なくとも 0.4のゲル分率を有する請求項4記載の方法。 20.該照射およびアニール工程後の該ポリオレフィンポリマーが0.55か ら0.7の範囲のゲル分率を有する請求項19記載の方法。 21.該接触圧力は0.01から2MPaの範囲にあり、そして該圧縮圧力は 0.1から50MPaの範囲にあるが該接触圧力よりも大きい請求項2記載の方 法。 22.該接触圧力は0.3から0.7MPaの範囲にあり、そして該圧縮圧力 は0.6から7MPaの範囲にあるが該接触圧力の少なくとも2倍である請求項 21記載の方法。 23.加えられる該単一圧力が0.1から10MPaの範囲にある請求項3記 載の方法。 24.該圧縮工程中に溶融する該ポリマーの比率が10から50重量%である 請求項1記載の方法。 25.無機充填材を使用する方法であって、該充填材が該圧縮一体構造物品中 に該物品の最高60容量%の量で存在するような請求項1記載の方法。 26.請求項1記載のような本発明の方法にしたがって調製されたポリオレフ ィンポリマー一体構造物。
