Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも制限された回転運動が可能な一対の要素を接続するための撓み 継手であって、 前記撓み継手は2つの端部を具えた本体部分を有し、各端部が前記一対の要素 の一方に接続可能であり、前記本体部分は少なくとも4つのスリットを有し、各 スリットは半径方向に前記本体の中央線を越える深さまで延びており、各スリッ トは前記本体の前記端部の間に他のスリットから長手方向に間隔をおいて、且つ 、前記本体の円周の周りに角度間隔をおいて配置されており、各スリットが凹状 の表面で終わっている、 撓み継手。 2.前記4つのスリットが第1スリットと、それに隣り合い、前記本体の円周 の周りに前記第1スリットから約180度の角度間隔をおいて配置された第2スリ ットと、前記第2スリットに隣り合い、前記本体の円周の周りに前記第1と第2 スリットから約90度の角度間隔をおいて配置された第3スリットと、前記第3ス リットと隣り合い、前記本体の円周の周りに前記第3スリットから約180度の角 度間隔をおいて配置された第4スリットとからなる、請求項1の撓み継手。 3.4つのスリットの2つのセットからなる、請求項1又は2の撓み継手。 4.前記2セットのスリットが、軸方向の大きさが1つのスリットの軸方向に おける大きさよりも大きい、前記本体部分の一部によって分けられている、請求 項3の撓み継手。 5.前記継手の長手方向に見た場合、一つのセットにおけるスリットの配置が 他のセットにおける配置と同じであり、互いに鏡像関係にはない、請求項3又は 4の撓み継手。 6.各前記スリットが前記本体内部にその他のスリットと同じ深さで延びてい る、請求項1から5のいずれかの撓み継手。 7.各スリットが前記本体内部に半径方向に前記本体の寸法の5/8から7/8の間 の最大深さまで延びている、請求項1から6のいずれかの撓み継手。 8.各スリットの最大深さが半径方向に前記本体の寸法の約3/4である、請求 項1から7のいずれかの撓み継手。 9.各スリットが終わる前記凹状の表面の半径が半径方向に前記本体の寸法の 1.2倍から2倍の間である、請求項1から8のいずれかの撓み継手。 10.各スリットが終わる前記凹状の表面の半径が半径方向に前記本体の寸法 の約1.5倍である、先の請求項のいずれか1つの撓み継手。 11.前記本体部分がその各端部に孔を具え、前記孔に前記一対の要素が各々 挿入されるようになっている、請求項1から10のいずれかの撓み継手。 12.前記本体部分の前記端部に前記要素の前記端部を固定するために固定手 段が具えられている、請求項11の撓み継手。 13.前記スリットが回転切削工具を用いて切削することによって前記本体部 分に設けられている、請求項1から12のいずれかの撓み継手。 14.前記切削工具の半径が実質的に各スリットの底部で必要とされる円弧形 の半径と同じである、請求項13の撓み継手。 15.2つの切削工具を担持するスピンドルが各セットの対応するスリットを 同時に形成するために使用される、請求項3から16のいずれかの撓み継手。 16.鋳造又はモールディングによって作られる、請求項1から12のいずれ かの撓み継手。 17.前記本体部分の直径が約20mm、前記凹状の表面の湾曲の半径が25mmから 40mmの間、各スリットの幅が約1mm、各スリットの間の距離が約0.5mmである、請 求項1から16のいずれかの撓み継手。
