Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.0.3〜300ギガヘルツ(GHz)レンジにおいて、RF通信信号を複数 の関連する加入者局に対して送信し且つ該加入者局から受信する少なくとも1つ の基地局を有する無線通信システムにおける、加入者局から前記基地局に対する RF送信の周波数不確定性を低減するシステムであって、 前記加入者局の各々が、送受信チャネルを持つ送受信機手段と、前記送信チャ ネルにおける送信ミキサと、前記受信チャネルにおける受信ミキサと、基準発振 器と、該基準発振器に接続された制御可能な送信および受信局部周波数源と、第 1の復調器手段と、前記第1の復調器手段を前記受信ミキサに接続するダウンコ ンバータ手段と、前記ダウンコンバータ手段に接続された電圧制御発振器手段と 、搬送波位相エラー補正信号を前記電圧制御発振器手段に供給するため前記第1 の復調器手段を接続する手段と、前記送信周波数源の周波数を調整するため該送 信周波数源を前記第1の復調器手段に接続する手段とを有する システム。 2.前記基準発振器が水晶発振器である請求項1記載の無線通信システム。 3.前記制御可能な送信および受信局部周波数源がプログラマブル・フェーズ・ ロック・ループ周波数シンセサイザである請求項1記載の無線通信システム。 4.前記ダウンコンバータが直角位相ダウンコンバータである請求項1記載の無 線通信システム。 5.前記受信ミキサを前記ダウンコンバータに接続する影像除去フィルタ手段を 含む請求項1記載の無線通信システム。 6.0.3〜300ギガヘルツ(GHz)レンジにおいてRF通信信号を複数の 関連する加入者局へ送信し且つ該加入者局から受信する少なくとも1つの基地局 を有する一点対多点の星形の地上無線通信システムにおける、低コストの局部発 振器を有する前記加入者局の各々から前記基地局へのRF送信の周波数不確定性 、ドリフトあるいはエラーを低減するシステムであって、A)前記基地局と、周 波数エラーを計測して前記加入者局の低コスト局部発振器における周波数ドリフ ト・エラーを補償する加入者局の手段とからの高精度の基準放送信号と、 B)前記基地局において各加入者の周波数ドリフト/エラーの計測から得た評価 を提供し、該計測されたエラーを対応する加入者局へ中継して当該加入者の送信 局部発振器における周波数ドリフト/エラーを補償することと、 のうちの1つ以上を実行する手段を組み込んだ システム。 7.各加入者局における前記基準発振器が低コストの水晶発振器である請求項6 記載の無線通信システム。
