Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.燃料ガス源と、燃料ガスの酸化によって接触酸化装置が加熱されるように空 気/燃料ガスの混合気を接触酸化装置へ分配する手段と、接触酸化装置の加熱の 結果として熱せられるように配置された燃料セルと、燃料セルへ空気と燃料ガス を分配する手段と、空気と燃料の混合物を供給されて加熱されるときに電気出力 を発生する燃料セルとを備えた電力源。 2.上記燃料ガス源は、上記接触酸化装置に接続された導管内へ、周りの空気を 引き込むように配置されたインジェクタに接続されており、該空気と燃料ガスが 該導管内で混合される請求項1記載の電力源。 3.上記接触酸化装置が、上記燃料セルの上流側に直列に接続される請求項1ま たは2記載の電力源。 4.上記燃料セルの下流側に、さらに接触酸化装置が設けられる請求項3記載の 電力源。 5.上記燃料セルが、少なくとも一つのセラミックチューブで規定される請求項 1ないし4のいずれかに記載の電力源。 6.上記チューブまたは各チューブが、イットリアがドープされた酸化ジルコニ ウムから形成される請求項5記載の電力源。 7.プラチナ触媒を支持する多孔性のセラミック繊維の塊から形成される接触酸 化装置をさらに備えている請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の電力源。 8.上記接触酸化装置の上流側に硫黄吸収フィルタを備えている請求項1ないし 7のいずれかに記載の電力源。 9.上記接触酸化装置および燃料セルが、断熱ジャケット内に収納されている請 求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載の電力源。 10.添付図面を参照して実質的にここに述べられた電力源。
