Apparatus according to claim 7, characterized in that said two bodies (1) in which two cylindrical hollow seats (2) are formed are mutually connected by means of at least one screw (7) which is axially constrained to one of said bodies (1), with the possibility of freely rotating, while it is coupled to the other body 1 with a nut screw; being provided operating coaxially to the part of said screw (7) between the two said bodies (1) a helical spring (8) acting in the sense of producing the removal of the bodies themselves.

Apparatus according to claim 5, characterized in that the said means adapted to tighten the part of garment to be enlarged gripped between the said two gripping members comprise at least one roller (9) which is rotatably mounted on a frame (10) at a fixed distance from the other gripping member and is provided with a radial slot (11) into which said garment (5) can be introduced; a mechanical device being provided for allowing the locking (and unlocking) of the roller in predetermined angular positions.

11. Apparatus according to claim 10, characterized in that said mechanical device suitable for allowing locking (and unlocking) of the roller in predetermined angular positions is a ratchet (12).

12. Apparatus according to claim 4, characterized in that said two gripping members consist of two clamps (14).

13. Method and apparatus for enlarging garments according to the preceding claims and according to what is described and illustrated with reference to the figures of the attached drawings and for the purposes mentioned above.
