Ein Behandlungsmodul (16) für einen Wäschebehandlungsschrank (1) ist mit zumindest einem zur Glättung eines zu behandelnden Wäschestücks (4, 5) vorgesehenen Glättungselement (20) versehen, das für einen Kontakt mit einer Oberfläche des Wäschestücks (4, 5) vorgesehen ist. In der Behandlungskammer ist ein Behandlungsmodul vorgesehen, welches eine zu Beginn des Behandlungsprozesses horizontal in Richtung auf das aufgespannte Bekleidungsstück zu verstellbare, mit einer flexiblen Außenkontur ausgebildete Dampfeinheit aufweist und anschließend während der Behandlung insgesamt in der Behandlungskammer auf einer Führungsschiene in vertikaler Richtung bewegt werden kann.
