Abstract
282,588. Vontobel, H. May 19, 1927. Washing, processes and materials for.-A process of washing clothes consists in steeping them in cold aqueous solution of washing soda, soap, borax and sodium perborate to which ferments such as enzymes and catalytic agents have been added. Peroxydase, oxydase, oxygenase, tyrozinase and catalase are given as examples of the enzymes, and the catalytic agents may be the salts of heavy metals such as ferrous or copper sulphate. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 273,711.
