Abstract

Macchina tosaerba comprende un gruppo di taglio costituito da due rotori appaiati all'interno di un unico carter i quali ruotano in senso contrario e portano almeno due lame allineate, l'interasse dei rotori essendo tale che le aree coperte dalle lame in rotazione si sovrappongono parzialmente in corrispondenza dell'asse di simmetria della coppia di rotori che coincide con l'asse della macchina, e nella quale il senso di rotazione dei due rotori è tale per cui la direzione di movimento delle lame in prossimità del detto asse di simmetria è concorde con la direzione di avanzamento della macchina.
