Abstract
Il metodo oggetto dell'invenzione consiste sostanzialmente nell'uso di tensioni di selezione comprendenti, a ogni selezione del pannello, almeno due impulsi, ossia tensioni sostanzialmente sempre della stessa polarità in intervalli di tempo finiti, della stessa polarità, (di scrittura) separati da una interruzione in cui sono presenti tensioni di polarità opposta, come ben specificato. Il valore assoluto dell'integrale della tensione nel tempo durante il secondo impulso (postimpulso di scrittura) è compreso tra 0,2Amin e 5Amin. La finestra temporale di comando associata alla tensione di selezione contiene intervalli di tempo in cui vengono applicate nell'interruzione tensioni di polarità opposta, che occupano in totale almeno uno e non più di quattro quinti della durata di detta finestra, e il valore assoluto dell'integrale della tensione di selezione nell'insieme degli intervalli di tempo anzidetti è compreso tra 0,05Amin e Amin. Oggetto dell'invenzione è altresì il dispositivo visualizzatore comprendente un pannello matriciale a cristallo liquido ferroelettrico e circuiti di generazione e applicazione delle relative tensioni di comando secondo il metodo descritto.
