Abstract

Oggetto dell'invenzione è un metodo di comando di un pannello matriciale a cristallo liquido ferroelettrico il quale sostanzialmente consiste nell'uso di tensioni di selezione comprendenti almeno quattro impulsi, ossia tensioni sostanzialmente sempre della stessa polarità in intervalli di tempo finiti, a ogni rinfresco del pannello, di cui gli ultimi due consecutivi e con opposte polarità, aventi valori assoluti dell'integrale della tensione nel tempo, durante ciascun impulso, compresi nei limiti ben definiti e nell'uso di finestre temporali di comando come ben specificate. Per l'ultimo impulso. detto valore assoluto dell'integrale della tensione nel tempo è compreso tra 0,2Amin e Amin; per il penultimo impulso, è compreso tra 0,2 Amin e 3 Amin: per un impulso (di compensazione) precedente i due anzidetti, è compreso tra 0,8 Amin e 3 Amin e, per un impulso (di cancellazione) precedente i tre anzidetti, è compreso tra 1 e 10 volte il valore dell'impulso di compensazione. Inoltre la corrispondente finestra temporale di comando associata si sovrappone in parte nel penultimo impulso, per almeno due e non più di quattro quinti della durata complessiva di detta finestra.
