Abstract

L'invenzione riguarda una composizione adesiva a base acquosa comprendente una miscela di polimeri adesivi in un sistema acquoso, caratterizzata dal fatto che la miscela di polimeri adesivi è 20-60% in peso di un polimero acrilico avente un bilanciamento di polarità espresso come assorbimento di acqua secondo la norma DIN 53495 da 3 a 20%; e, in modo corrispondente, 40-80% in peso di una resina acrilica tackifier compatibile avente un grado di idrofobicità, misurato come angolo di contatto fra un film secco della resina ed una goccia di acqua distillata, di non meno di 60°; le percentuali essendo basate sul totale di polimero acrilico più resina tackifer espressi come solidi secchi. La composizione dimostra un buon mantenimento del legame quando bagnata e può essere utilizzata per legare substrati polari quali cellulosa e substrati non-polari quali poliolefine. Quando utilizzato per legare substrato assorbente nei confronti dell'acqua quale cellulosa, l'adesivo deve avere una viscosità di 200 mPas o meno. L'adesivo è particolarmente adatto per l'impiego nella fabbricazione di articoli assorbenti quali pannolini e assorbenti igienici.(senza figura).
