Abstract

Carro ferroviario a due piani per trasporto di autovetture con una piattaforma di carico superiore, mobile su colonnine di supporto e fissabile in posizione, il cui sistema portante è essenzialmente formato da travi longitudinali esterne e da traverse di notevole ingombro in altezza. Con l'obiettivo di ottenere un carro merci a due piani, utilizzabile per il trasporto di autovetture e di collettame in modo economicamente vantaggioso, è previsto che, nella zona fra le colonnine di supporto, la distanza all'interno dei correnti inferiori delle travi longitudinali esterne della piattaforma di carico superiore sia maggiore rispetto all'ingombro esterno della zona dei correnti superiori dei longheroni esterni del telaio inferiore, cosicché, quando la superficie di carico superiore viene abbassata, le travi longitudinali esterne vadano a coprire i longheroni esterni medesimi.(Figura 2).
