Abstract

L'invenzione concerne nuovi derivati farmacologicamente attivi dell'N- (2-mercaptoacetil) omocisteina sia in forma -tiolattonica ciclizzata in forma di catena aperta, aventi formula: (FORMULA I) dove R rappresenta un atomo di idrogeno, un alchile C1-3, un aralchile C 7-9 o gruppi COR1, nei quali R1 è un alchile C1-3, eventualmente sostituito con un gruppo metossi, o un aralchile C7-9, i gruppi aralchilici possono essere non sostituiti o sostituiti sull'anello fenilico da uno o più alogeni, alchile C1-3 o alcossile C1-3; L è idrogeno, Q è ossidrile oppure L e Q insieme formano un legame.Viene inoltre descritto il processo per la preparazione dei suddetti composti. Tali composti risultano utili nel trattamento di bronchiti acute e croniche, enfisema, patologie acute e croniche ORL, quali antidoti contro deplezione di glutatione endogeno indotti da farmaci, da radiazioni e in caso di alterazione della bilancia biologica ossido-riduttiva.
