Abstract

Una rettificatrice per rettificare a forma denti d'ingranaggi, in cui un ingranaggio in lavorazione è posizionato a rotazione a mezzo di un dispositivo d'azionamento controllato da calcolatore. Una sonda sensibile in nota relazione angolare rispetto ad una mola di rettifica attorno all'asse dell'ingranaggio, è posizionata casualmente in qualsiasi spazio interdente in ciascuna di una serie d'operazioni di sondaggio realizzate su di una pluralità di punti distanziati lungo la lunghezza di uno spazio interdente. Nell'operazione di sondaggio su ciascun punto, la sonda percepisce le posizioni angolari dell'ingranaggio, quando l'ingranaggio viene condotto in direzioni opposte in posizioni d'azionamento della sonda di superfici di denti adiacenti e il calcolatore calcola metà della differenza angolare fra le due posizioni angolari. Il calcolatore fa quindi la media della metà differenza angolare calcolata su ciascuno della pluralità di punti distanziati, per fornire una posizione di rettifica divisa del sovrametallo. L'ingranaggio può quindi essere fatto ruotare alla posizione divisa del sovrametallo per la rettifica.
