Abstract
Viene descritto un processo per realizzare rivestimenti di carbonio duro su substrati di acciaio o lega metallica attuato mediante i seguenti stadi effettuati in continuo nello stesso reattore:(1) deposizione sul substrato di uno strato amorfo, di spessore fino a 0,3 micron, di silicio o di titanio o di tantalio;(2) deposizione di strati amorfi sottili successivi, di spessore totale fino a 0,5 micron, di. lega carbonio-silicio o carbonio-titanio o di carbonio-tantalio in cui la frazione atomica di carbonio aumenta gradualmente da 0 fino a o 6;(3) deposizione di uno strato di carbonio amorfo idrogenato duro di spessore fino a 1,2 micron.
