Abstract

Un apparecchio condizionatore d'aria provvisto di un modo operativo di deumidificazione per cui l'apparecchio è in grado di raffreddare e deumidificare aria in uno spazio da sottoporre a condizionamento d'aria, nonché di deumidificare aria nello spazio senza alcun raffreddamento apprezzabile dell'aria stessa. L'apparecchio dispone sia di un evaporatore che di un riscaldatore nonché di una valvola intercettatrice manovrata a solenoide sul percorso del refrigerante caldo. La valvola intercettatrice apre per predisporre l'apparecchio nella condizione di deumidificazione. In tale condizione operativa, una porzione del refrigerante caldo che emerge dallo scarico del compressore bipassa il condensatore esterno e percorre il riscaldatore interno. Nella condizione di deumidificazione, l'aria che si è riscaldata passando sopra il riscaldatore viene miscelata con aria che si è raffreddata e deumidificata passando sopra l'evaporatore in corrispondenza dell'uscita dell'aria del condizionatore d'aria per produrre una corrente di aria deumidificata approssimativamente alla temperatura dell'aria in entrata.
