Abstract

E' descritto un cavo di accensione avente un filo di resistenza avvolto elicoidalmente attorno ad un elemento di rinforzo in modo da formare un nucleo conduttore. Uno strato di adesivo molto sottile viene applicato sopra il nucleo conduttore e viene ricoperto di uno strato semiconduttore di materiale termoindurente reticolato. Il materiale termoindurente reticolato viene estruso sullo strato adesivo in modo da formare una superficie liscia. Uno strato di materiale isolante ed una guaina di protezione vengono applicati sullo strato isolante. Una treccia può essere aggiunta tra lo strato isolante e la guaina per aumentare la resistenza meccanica del cavo d'accensione.
