Abstract

Il dispositivo rivelatore dell'inchiostro è preferibilmente utilizzato per segnalare con un certo anticipo la fine dell'inchiostro in un serbatoio o in una cartuccia di alimentazione di una testina di stampa termica a getto d'inchiostro. Il dispositivo comprende una coppia di elettrodi immersi nel corpo spugnoso imbevuto di inchiostro contenuto nel serbatoio, e disposti in una zona adiacente al condotto di alimentazione dove il corpo spugnoso presenta una capillarità più elevata che in zone lontane. Gli elettrodi sono collegati a un circuito di misura della resistenza elettrica dell'inchiostro compreso tra i due elettrodi.
