Abstract

The fitting comprises a first profiled member with one or more sockets and contacts for connection to the electrical mains. One or more second profiled members (5) are in the form of arms accommodating the bulbs, fitting in the sockets (4) in the first member (1) which acts as a support. They each have other contacts which bear against the contacts in the first member and supply the bulb with current. The arm end and the socket are so shaped as to prevent rotation of the arm after insertion. The contacts in the first member can be male, fitting in female slotted contacts in the arms.
