Abstract

1466754 Valves DIESSEL GmbH & CO 31 July 1974 [26 March 1974] 33680/74 Heading F2V [Also in Division B8] A valve for use in a sampling installation (see Division B8) has an outlet duct 8 and an inlet duct 14 which is closable by an element 11 having a seal 12. The element 11 is carried by a valve stem 13 slidable within a seal 17 in a guide 18 and connected to a cap 20. A plunger 23 is moved downwards by energization of an electromagnet 22 to open the valve which is closed by a return spring 19. The passage 29 between the valve stem 13 and the wall of duct 14 is just large enough to allow flow of a liquid. [GB1466754A]
