Abstract

1455828 Fat blend UNILEVER Ltd 17 Jan 1974 [18 Jan 1973] 2667/73 Heading C5C A fat blend for margarine comprises a palm based fat and a co-randomized mixture of a palm based fat and a non-palm based fat, the non-palm based fat predominantly consisting of C 44 and higher triglycerides (defined), 40-80 wt. per cent of the total fatty acid residues in ihe blend being derived from palm based fat and the fat blend having a PUP/PPU ratio (defined) of #2À8. The exemplified non-palm based fats are soyabean, safflower, sunflower, rapeseed, cotton seed ground nut and rice bean oil and marine oils and their hydrogenated or fractionated derivatives.
