Abstract

[Also in Division B6] Foils of paper and metal, used as wrapping material for bundles of cigarettes, e.g. in cigarette packets, are impregnated with flavouring material prior to embossing and packaging. The specific flavouring material is a solution of menthol in alcohol, and the wrapper is intended to impart the flavour to the cigarettes after packaging. The wrapping material is preferably in the form of a continuous web which is pre-impregnated, rewound into a coil and then fed to a packaging machine. [GB1260118A]
