Abstract

Dehydrated food products comprise a mixture of hydrolyzed legumes and cereals, and have a dextrose equivalent (D.E.) of less than 4. An Independent claim is also included for the production of the dehydrated food product by (i) hydrolyzing leguminous grain with a carbohydrase until the D.E. is less than 4; and (ii) mixing with cereal.
