Abstract

A találmány tárgya eljárás szertralin előállítására. A találmányszerinti eljárás szerint a racém 4-(3,4-diklór-fenil)-3,4-dihidro-l-(2H) naftalenol reduktív aminálását metil-amin-sók és alkáli formiátkeverékével végzik legalább egy szervetlen só - lítium, berillium,magnézium vagy alumínium - jelenlétében, N-metilformamidos vagy 1,2-diklór-benzolos közegben illetve N-metilfonnamid és 1,2-diklór-benzolkeverékének közegében, semleges atmoszférában, a kapott termék 4-(3,4diklór-fenil)-1,2,3,4-tetrahidro-N-metil-l-nafralinamin-hidroklorid cisz- és transzizomereivé hidrolizálódik, melyeket külön-külön izolálnak és ellentétes geometriai izomertartalmuk minimális.
