Abstract

A találmány tárgyát képezi eljárás megváltozott szénanyagcseréjű, C4-típusú növények előállítása, amely során egy C4-típusú növényi sejtbefoszfoenol-piruvát-karboxilázt (PEPC) kódoló nukleotidszekvenciáttartalmazó expressziós kazettát visznek be, és a sejtet olyankörülmények között szaporítják, hogy az expressziós kazettát agenomjában tartalmazó C4-nővénnyé regeneráljon. A találmány tárgyátképezi továbbá a találmány szerinti eljárással nyerhető növény vagynövényi rész. A találmány szerinti, foszfoenol-piruvát-karboxilázt(PEPC) kódoló nukleotidszekvencia C4-típusú, transzgénikus növényekelőállítására alkalmazható, amelyekben megváltozott a szénalapúasszimilációs termékek tartalma, amely elősegíti a termésérést és amag telítődését, és vízstresszel szemben ellenállóbbá teszi a növényt,továbbá próbaként vagy amplifikációhoz láncindítóként alkalmazható atalálmány szerinti, transzformált növények kiválasztására.
