Abstract
A találmány szerinti folyamatos eljárásban poliizobutént állítanak előizobutén bór- trifluoridot tartalmazó katalizátor és legalább egykokatalizátor jelenlétében inert szerves oldószerben történőpolimerizálásával, és a) a kapott reakcióelegy egy részét folyamatosaneltávolítják a polimerizációs reaktorból, b) a katalizátortelválasztják a kijövő áramból és/vagy deaktiválják a kijövő árambanés, c) az oldószert és a nem átalakult izobutént elválasztják a kijövőáramból és visszavezetik a polimerizációs reaktorba, amelyben avisszavezetett oldószert és, ha van jelen, az izobutént vizes mosásnakvetik alá mielőtt a polimerizációs reaktorba visszavezetik, szükségesetén utána szárítják.
