Abstract

A találmány tárgyát képezik delta-5-acil-CoA-deszaturáz és zsírsav-acil-CoA-elongáz enzimek teljes egészét vagy egy lényeges részétkódoló izolált nukleinsavfragmensek, az ezekkel anukleinsavfragmensekkel komplementer izolált nukleinsavfragmensek ésaz ezeket a nukleinsavfragmenseket megfelelő szabályozó szekvenciákhozműködőképesen kapcsolva tartalmazó kiméragének. A találmány tárgyátképezi eljárás gazdasejtben egy, a lipid-bioszintézisben szerepetjátszó enzim expressziós szintjének megváltoztatására, amely során egygazdasejtet a kiméragénnel transzformálnak és a gazdasejtet akiméragén expressziójára alkalmas körülmények között szaporítják, ahola kiméragén expressziója az enzim megváltozott szintű termelődéséteredményezi. A találmány tárgya továbbá eljárás delta-5-helyzetbenkettős kötést tartalmazó telítetlen zsírsav előállítására gazdasejtbenvagy magban vagy magolajban. A találmány tárgyát képezi továbbáeljárás 16 szénatomos zsírsavak szintjének csökkentésére és eljárás 20szénatomos zsírsavak szintjének fokozására egy gazdasejtben, magokbanés olajokban.
