Abstract

The arrangement consists of a shallow box (4) which is mounted with its open end against a wall using four mounting lugs (14). The face of the box has a pattern of holes (20,21) on which any one of a variety of sanitary fixtures can be mounted. The arrangement further incorporates an accessory box (36), for e.g. valves, which has an extension (38) with which it fits into an opening in the top side of the box. The extension has a row of teeth (42,43) along either side with which securing elements (44,45) can be made to engage and which allow the vertical position of the accessory to be adjusted.

Description

The invention relates to a device for attaching a sanitary element, especially a urinal, according to the features listed in the introductory part of patent claim 1.

A device of this type is known from the German utility model DE 89 02 318 U1, designed primarily as a frame for installation on the front wall. The fastening device is made of vertical crossbars and transverse beams, which are manufactured separately and connected to each other by means of screws or in a similar way. Production costs are not negligible.

Furthermore, from the German patent file DE 22 49 788, a sanitary cell with a U-shaped shell is known for covering the inlet and outlet pipes of the sink. This shell is made in one piece as a support for the divided pipe, connecting and connecting part of the sink, and has supporting legs on the bottom side. The weight of that shell rests mainly on the floor legs. In the interior of the shell, in the plane above the sink, a fixed support element is provided, connected primarily to the wall of the room, which is made as a rail bent into the shape of the letter U. The shell is made so that it is open on the upper and lower sides, and they are placed laterally two arms that extend the entire height of the shell, and they are mostly perpendicular to the front frontal wall of the shell. The shell extends mainly over the entire internal height of the space and thus serves as a jacket for the pipelines and exhaust pipes, which are located on the walls of the rooms and extend from floor to floor throughout the height of the building. This sanitary cell is a very large and inconvenient device, and its fitting and assembly require expenses that cannot be ignored.

Starting from this, the task of the invention is based on the creation of a compact, yet universally usable fastening device. The production costs of mounting the fastening device must be insignificant, and the adaptation to sanitary elements of different constructions, and especially to the urinal, must be simple and functionally reliable. The fastening device must be light in weight and in addition possess high stability and long service life, and must enable high functional reliability.

The solution to that task was successful according to the indicated features of patent claim 1.

The proposed attachment device contains a basic body in the shape of a cabinet, which has a certain number of slots or holes on its front side. The spacing of these sockets or holes is adjusted for threaded bushings or similar connecting elements of sanitary elements. The basic body is purposefully made in one piece, so that expensive production and assembly procedures from different individual parts are eliminated. In a special version, the basic body is made of plastic, primarily by injection molding. Based on the production of the entire body from plastic, both the basic body and the next connecting unit, which will be discussed below, and if necessary also the pipe clamp for the exhaust pipe, corrosion problems, which in practice appear with profiled ones, have been avoided. rails and similar metal parts, for example in the hollow space behind the dry coat, a long service life for decades is guaranteed.

The base body has, in addition, a top wall above the generally flat front wall and both side walls, whereby the stability of the base body is significantly improved by the connection of both side walls made over the top wall. The front wall is primarily made in the form of a plate. In a purposeful way, there are also rearward-facing walls on the underside, so that there is at least an approximately closed frame around the entire circumference. The one-piece basic body made in this way with low consumption of material and ultimately low mass has high stability and enables the functionally correct attachment of sanitary elements of different constructions.

At the upper end of the basic body according to the invention, a connection unit of adjustable height is arranged. In order to activate the flushing of the sanitary element with water, that connection unit should have, in particular, a drive unit, valve, arc of the flushing pipe or the like, so that, in case of need, water for flushing can be supplied to the sanitary element. The connection unit is thus built as a receiving body for the aforementioned components, most of which are pre-assembled at the factory, so that local assembly costs are significantly reduced at the construction site. Due to the construction of the connecting element, which enables adjustment of its height, adjustment can be made with minimal costs under different installation conditions and/or differently designed sanitary elements. Elements for securing valves, pipelines or the like for flushing water on the wall or on the construction of the front wall are especially excluded.

The connection unit is primarily constructed so that its front edges lie substantially in the same plane as the front upper surface of the front wall of the base body.

After mounting the attachment device, the base body as well as the connection unit are covered with ceramic tiles, plates or the like, whereby the front opening of the connection unit remains open, so that the valves and the like, provided in the connection unit, are easily accessible at all times. The front edge, i.e. the specified plane of the surface, can be purposefully placed so that it is indented at the front for the intended measure, and that is of the order of magnitude of the thickness of the ceramic tiles and/or cover plates, i.e. of the order of 10 to 20 mm. The connection unit contains a useful cabinet and adjustment rails, for which a guide is purposefully provided behind the front wall of the base body. These guides may usefully have holes in the transverse wall of the base body and/or guide rails arranged behind the front wall.

The connection unit is open at the front, so that pipes, valves or the like inside the receiving body are easily accessible even in the assembled state. This opening on the front side of the receiving body is covered after assembly with a cover plate, which also contains a push button, button or similar to activate the flushing.

In the area of the lower end of the front wall, there is a cavity for a pipe clamp, which serves to fix the exhaust pipe of the sanitary element. This pipe clamp is placed in such a way that its height can be adjusted and thus it can be adapted to the relevant installation and assembly conditions. The wall of the cavity contains grooves arranged to correspond with the segments of the pipe clamp, wherein these grooves and segments are preferably arranged horizontally. The pipe clamp is thus easily inserted from the front to the required height and adjusted in the cavity. No special tools are required to align the pipe clamp and it allows for very low installation costs. In this connection, it should be further pointed out that the described upper connection unit can also be adjusted to the desired height with respect to the basic body without special tools, so that the attachment element can be inserted into the corresponding grooves, and/or segments, and/or serrations with a simple manual operation. .

Features of the construction and further implementation of the invention are listed in the subclaims and are explained in more detail in the further description.

Fig. 1 shows in perspective the attachment device seen from the front with a base body 2 in the form of a cabinet.

The basic body 2 has a mostly flat and/or plate-like front wall 4, as well as vertically oriented side walls parallel to each other in the installed state, of which only one side wall 6 is visible here. The side wall 6 has a cavity 8 open to the rear, into which the fitter can reach by hand. Both side walls have cavities of this type, which makes it significantly easier to handle during installation and assembly. Furthermore, in the cavity area - there are pipes, conduits, supports and the like, so that the installation of the basic body is not hindered by this. At the upper end, the basic body 4 has an upper transverse wall 10, and corresponding transverse walls are also provided on the lower side. With the help of these interconnected walls, which are located on all sides, as well as with the circular walls that form the frame, it achieves high stability with a small mass. The basic body is open towards the back and for support purposes, support ribs are provided between the front wall and the sides and transverse walls. In the side wall 6, and also in the other side wall, there are gaps 12, which enable the connection of the mounting corner 14 with screws or similar fastening elements. According to the drawing, the rear arm 16 is used for fastening to the wall of the building or to the frame for mounting on the front wall. The connection to the frame construction of the front wall mounting system can also be made and the direct connection to the front wall mounting system frame construction can be made through vertical gaps 12 here and, if necessary, through additional gaps or holes 18 in the side wall.

In the front wall 4, a certain number of holes 20, 21 are arranged symmetrically in relation to the vertical plane 22. One left hole 20 and one right hole 21 are needed for fixing the sanitary element, especially the urinal, to insert a threaded sleeve or the like. Different holes 20 , 21 are arranged so that most common sanitary elements can be connected to the basic body 2.

At the lower end, the base body has a cavity 24 for the pipe clamp 26. The side walls 28 of the cavity have horizontally directed grooves 30, with which the segments 32 of the pipe clamp can be engaged. Accordingly, the pipe clamp 26 can be withdrawn from the cavity 24 forward in the horizontal direction and inserted in the reverse direction.

Slots 30, arranged vertically one above the other, at intervals that can be specified beforehand, enable simple alignment of the clip 26 in the longitudinal plane 22, i.e. vertically in height. As will be further explained below, in order to secure the exhaust pipe of the sanitary element, the clamp can be fitted at the front. In this way, the installation and fixing of the exhaust pipe is done at an extremely low cost.

At the upper end of the base body 2 there is a receiving unit 34, the height of which can be adjusted according to the base body. The receiving unit 34 has a cabinet 36 open to the front for receiving valves, actuating elements or the like for supplying water for flushing the sanitary element, especially the urinal. On the lower side of the cabinet 36 with the front edge 36, the adjustment rail 38 is connected, which according to the invention is introduced into the guide 39 of the basic body 2. The guide 39 has a special opening 40 in the upper transverse wall 10 of the basic body 2, and/or a guide bar 41 , or the same on the back side of the basic body 2, preferably on its front wall. In this way, the receiving unit 34 can be adjusted to a defined height with respect to the basic body 2, so that the cabinet 36 is located at a defined distance from the basic body 2, first of all from the mentioned holes, i.e. the fixing places 20, 21 and finally from the fixed there sanitary element. The adjustment rail 38 protrudes through the opening 40 of the upper wall 10 into the open space behind the front wall 4.

On its outer sides, the adjustment rail 38 has serrations 42, 43, through which the entire receiving unit 34 with the base body 2 can be fixed in a vertical direction. For this purpose, the fastening elements 44, 45 that engage in the serrations 42, 43 with parts that are located behind the front wall and are not shown here. To accurately adjust the receiving element, only the fixing elements 44, 46 need to be pulled out from the front wall 4 towards the front, because they are no longer in engagement with the serrations 42, 43. No special tool is needed to adjust the receiving unit, but the fixing elements 44, 45 must only be released again in the described manner, that is, brought into engagement with serrations 42, 43.

In the adjustment rail 38, there is also a flushing pipe, whose upper opening 48 is visible inside the cabinet 36. At the lower end of the flushing pipe 46, a connection 50 is provided for the inflow of the sanitary element. The length of the flushing pipe 46 is predetermined in accordance with the requirements and thus changes the distance of the connection 50 to the cabinet 36. This enables great adaptability during assembly. The front wall 4 purposefully has a gap 52 that extends downwards, in which the connecting body 50 moves accordingly and can thus be precisely adjusted.

The front upper surface of the front wall 4 is located in a plane which, in the mounted position of the fastening device, is directed mainly vertically. The receiving unit 34 according to the invention is placed so that it is located mainly behind the indicated plane. As can be seen, for this condition, the adjustment rail 38 is sufficient, because according to the invention it is located behind the front wall 4. The cabinet 36 is also located maximally behind the mentioned plane formed by the surface of the front end wall. In the embodiment shown here, only the front edge 37 protrudes in front of the specified plane at a predetermined distance. In toilets or laundry rooms, the walls will be equipped with a mantle in the usual way, especially with ceramic tiles. The specified distance therefore corresponds to the usual thickness of the mantle of that type and/or the mentioned ceramic tiles.

Fig. 2 shows an enlarged view of the receiving unit 34 with the cabinet 36 and the adjustment rail 38. The pipe connection 50 is at the lower end of the flushing pipe 46 and according to the length of the flushing pipe 46 the distance 54 of the pipe connection 50 from the cabinet 36 can be predetermined. accordingly, the distance of the connection 50 from the upper edge of the base body is also determined in advance, whereby the exact position of the receiving unit 34 in relation to the base body 2 must be taken into account. As already stated, the receiving unit 34 is adjusted in the base body using serrations 42, 43 arranged laterally on the adjustment rail. Understandably, in addition to the special purpose serrations shown here within the framework of the invention, adjustments and fixings can also be made in a similar way with mortise elements, snap-on joints or the like, if necessary.

Figure 3 shows an enlarged one-piece pipe clamp 26 according to the invention, which has a slightly movable lower part 54. Here, the already mentioned segments 32 on the side of the pipe clamp 26 are also clearly visible for engagement in the corresponding slots in the cavity of the base body. The clip 26 has an upper part 56 made as a bridge and ribs 60 extending towards the inner wall 58. In contrast, the lower part 54 is made relatively compliant and flexible, so that it can be laid around the pipe over its outer surface. The tube is tightened using a screw 62, which can be screwed into the corresponding thread of the lower part 54. It is particularly significant that the screw 62 is inclined towards the vertical 64 at an angle 66, so that the head of the screw can be reached from the front, obliquely from above. This avoids complicated work at the rear end of the sanitary element when fixing the connecting pipe in a particularly purposeful way.

Figure 4 shows the mounting angle 14 with its horizontal slots 68, 69 for the already mentioned fixing elements. For support and to achieve low consumption of material, the mounting angle 14 has ribs 70 which purposefully extend in the longitudinal direction. The mounting angle 14 is purposefully made of plastic. Furthermore, it should be strictly observed that the base body 2, as well as the pipe clamp 26 and the receiving unit 34 are made of plastic.

Such a construction, entirely made of plastic, avoids difficulties due to corrosion and ensures a long service life of the fastening device according to the invention. The fixing device is useful as an add-on for pre-plastering and wet construction, for installation in a niche, for installation between double supports and/or in combination with installation of a jacket for easy construction.

Figure 5 shows a special embodiment of the attachment device whose main body 2 on the front wall 4 has numerical markings 72, to which different holes 20 and 21 are associated. These markings 72 facilitate local assembly and insertion of threaded bushings that correspond to the respective sanitary elements, or similar. On the pipe clamp 26, laterally on the lower cavity 24, markings 74 are arranged, which also facilitate the correct placement of the pipe clamp 26. Finally, an adjustment rail 38 with markings 76 is also provided, which guarantees a customized correct fixing of the sanitary element.. Inside of the cabinet 36 can also be seen the spikes 78 - provided for fixing a valve or the like. Furthermore, a partition 80 is provided inside the cabinet, which serves for electrical insulation between parts through which water flows from electrical connections, for example an electromagnetic valve. Finally, in the corner there are sockets 82 for screws, with which the front opening of the cabinet 36 can be closed after assembly and installation work.

In this particular construction, the cabinet 36 in the region of the front edge 37 has a frame or flange 84. The front side of the flange 84, seen here, is located substantially in the same plane as the front surface 86 of the front wall 4. At the upper end of the front wall it has a cavity. 88 in which, after the receiving unit 34 is fully retracted, the flange 84 abuts with the lower end. The cabinet 36 also has side holes 90, 92 through which lines can be introduced, either electrical lines or water pipes. This enables the lateral connection of the mentioned lines without difficulty, and a slight installation depth can be achieved without special corner parts, elbows or the like.

Claims (10)

1. The device for attaching the sanitary element, especially the urinal, has a front wall (4) with holes (20, 21) or supports for connecting elements with the sanitary element, indicated by the fact that the front wall (4) is made as an integral part of the basic body ( 2) and that it has holes (20, 21) or sockets, and that a socket unit (34) of adjustable height is placed on the upper end of the basic body (2). 2. Fastening device according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that at the back, at a certain distance behind the front wall (4), there are generally mutually parallel side walls (6) with cavities (8) open primarily towards the back, and/or that at the upper end of the front wall (4) there is a transverse wall (10) directed towards the back. 3. The attachment device, especially according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the basic body (2) has the shape of a cabinet and/or is made in one piece and/or is made of plastic and/or has a cavity (24) at its lower end for pipe clamp holder (26). 4. Fastening device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the receiving unit (34) is located mainly behind the plane in which the front surface (86) of the front wall (4) is located, and/or that the receiving unit (34 ) at the upper end of the cabinet (38) for the connection with the base body (2) has an adjustment rail (38), which goes from the upper end of the cabinet (36) downwards, and/or that the adjustment rail (38) is located behind the front walls (4) and/or that the base body (2) contains the guide (39-41) of the adjustment rail (38). 5. Fastening device according to claim 4, characterized in that the guide on the back side of the front wall (4) contains at least one slat (41) for guidance and/or that it has an opening (40) especially in the upper transverse wall (10), while whereby the adjustment rail (38) passes through the opening (40) and/or at least partially rests on the guide bar (41). 6. Fastening device according to one of claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the pipe clamp (26) is located in the cavity (24) so that it can be adjusted vertically in relation to the vertical longitudinal plane (22). 7. Fastening device according to one of claims 3 to 6, characterized in that the pipe clamp (26) can be placed in the cavity (24) from the front in a horizontal direction and/or that the cavity (24), preferably in its side walls (24), has a certain number of slots (30), which are spaced apart in the vertical direction and into which the corresponding segments (32) of the pipe clamp (26) engage. 8. Fastening device according to one of claims 3 to 7, characterized in that the pipe clamp (26) has an upper part (56) in the form of a bridge, and opposite it there is a flexible lower part (54), whereby the connection between the lower of the part (54) and the upper part (56) is realized by means of a screw (62), which can be screwed in first obliquely from above from the front side. 9. Fastening device according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the receiving unit (34), preferably its adjustment rail (38), has at least one toothing (42, 43) and/or that the fastening element ( 44, 45) can engage both with the basic body (2) and also with the adjustment rail (38), especially with its serrations (42, 43), and/or that the receiving body (34) has a flushing tube (46) ) with the connecting part (50) and/or that the connecting body (50) is located at an adjustable distance (54) to the cabinet (36) of the receiving body (34). 10. Fastening device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the basic body (2), especially its front wall (4) has a gap (52) that goes from the upper edge downwards, along which the connecting body (50) ) can move when adjusting the receiving body (34).
