Claims (13)

1. Spremnik za kapsuliranje radioaktivnog i/ili opasnog otpada, pri čemu je spremnik formiran od bionerazgradivog termoplastičnog polimera i ima strukturu za ojačavanje koja je sastavno formirana unutar polimera, pri čemu je spremnik (100) formiran od ili uključuje više kompozitnih ploča (10) koji sadrži strukturu za pojačanje (12, 112) barem djelomično smještenu unutar matričnog materijala (14, 114), pri čemu je matrični materijal pripravak sastav koji uključuje bionerazgradivi termoplastični polimer i vosak ili mast, a spremnik je zapečaćen i koji sadrži radioaktivni i/ili opasan otpad kapsuliran u kapsulirajuću smjesu koja sadrži bionerazgradivi termoplastični polimer i vosak, pri čemu se smjesa za kapsuliranje miješa otopljena, čime se kapsulira otpad u pripravku.
2. Spremnik prema zahtjevu 1, naznačen time, da je bionerazgradivi termoplastični polimer poliolefin odabran iz skupine koju čine polietilen niske gustoće (LDPE), polipropilen, polietilen visoke gustoće (HDPE), akril, polivinil etilen, polivinil acetat, polivinil acetat klorid (PVC), polistiren, najlon, polibutadien i njihove mješavine.
3. Spremnik prema zahtjevu 1 ili 2, naznačen time, da je vosak odabran iz jedne ili više grupa koje se sastoje od parafina, pčelinjeg voska, kineskog voska, lanolina, šelak voska, spermaceta, voska od bobica, voska kandelila, voska od karnaube, voska od insekata, ricinusova voska, esparto voska, japanskog voska, jojoba ulja, ouricury voska, voska od rižinih mekinja, voska od soje, voska lotosa, voska ceresina, montan voska, ozocerita, voska treseta, mikrokristalnog voska, vazelina, supstitut fischer voska, cetil palmitata, lauril palmitata, cetostearil stearata, polietilenskog voska, C3o-45 alkil metikon i C3o-45 olefina.
4. Spremnik prema zahtjevu 1, 2 ili 3, pri čemu materijal matrice (14, 114) nadalje uključuje punilo ili vlakno za pojačanje odabrano iz jedne ili više grupa koje se sastoje od suhog čistog ili otpadnog drva u prahu, staklenih vlakana, ugljičnih vlakana, aramidnih vlakana, vlakana od silicij karbida, bor vlakana, aluminij vlakana, aromatičnih poliamidnih vlakana, visokoelastičnih poliesterskih vlakana, konoplje, jute ili sisala.
5. Spremnik u skladu s bilo kojim od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 4, naznačen time što spremnik (100) ima najmanje jedan električno vodljivi grijaći element (130) koji je postavljen blizu otvorenog kraja spremnika i može se aktivirati za zagrijavanje materijala matrice za spajanje poklopca na spremnik.
6. Metoda kapsuliranja radioaktivnog i/ili opasnog otpada, uključujući korake: pružanje spremnika (100) koji je formiran od bionerazgradivog termoplastičnog polimera i koji ima strukturu za ojačanje koja je sastavno formirana unutar polimera, pri čemu je spremnik (100) formiran od ili uključuje više kompozitnih ploča (10) koje sadrže strukturu za ojačanje (12, 112) barem djelomično smješten unutar materijala matrice (14, 114), pri čemu je materijal matrice pripravak koji uključuje bionerazgradivi termoplastični polimer i vosak ili mast; umetanje radioaktivnog i/ili opasnog otpada kapsuliranog u smjesu za kapsuliranje koja sadrži bionerazgradivi termoplastični polimer i vosak, pri čemu je kapsulacija pomiješana s taljenjem, čime se kapsulira otpad u pripravku, u spremnik; i zatvaranje spremnika.
7. Metoda prema zahtjevu 6, koja nadalje uključuje korak dovođenja pripravka za kapsuliranje u rastaljeni oblik koji uključuje bionerazgradivi termoplastični polimer i vosak ili mast; i kombiniranje radioaktivnog i/ili opasnog otpada s pripravkom da se dobije smjesa; i ulijevanje smjese u posudu.
8. Metoda prema zahtjevu 7, naznačena time, da je bionerazgradivi termoplastični polimer koji se koristi za formiranje inkapsulacijske smjese u obliku granula ili peleta obložen voskom.
9. Postupak prema zahtjevu 7 ili 8, naznačen time, da nadalje uključuje korak komprimiranja smjese unutar spremnika.
10. Metoda prema bilo kojem od zahtjeva 7 do 9, koja dalje uključuje korak pokrivanja toksičnog otpada pripravkom koji uključuje bionerazgradivi termoplastični polimer i vosak ili mast.
11. Metoda prema bilo kojem od zahtjeva 7 do 10, naznačena time, da se otpad melje ili drobi u oblik praha prije miješanja.
12. Metoda prema bilo kojem od zahtjeva 7 do 11, naznačena time što je radioaktivni i/ili opasni otpad nuklearni otpad, medicinski otpad, otpad iz rudarskih ili proizvodnih procesa, ili radioaktivni i/ili opasni otpad ekstrahiran procesom destilacije parom.
13. Metoda prema bilo kojem od zahtjeva 7 do 12, koja nadalje uključuje korak dovođenja otpada u otopljeni ili tekući oblik i odvajanje otpada iz pripravka za kapsuliranje.
