Abstract
Παρέχεται μία δυναμοηλεκτρική μηχανή που έχει μία κοίλη άτρακτο κατάλληλη γιά να δέχεται ρευστό σε ένα άκρο και να το εκκενώνει στο άλλο. Η κοίλη άτρακτος έχει ένα σωρό ελασμάτων εγκατεστημένων επ' αυτής. 'Ενας κοίλος δίσκος τίθεται γειτονικά και σε επαφή με ένα αξονικό άκρο του σωρού των ελασμάτων. Ο κοίλος δίσκος περιλαμβάνει ένα γενικά κυκλικό διάφραγμα για να χωρίζεται ο κοίλος δίσκος σε δύο εσωτερικούς τομείς και για να προκαλείται η περιστροφή του ρευστού με την ίδια γωνιακή ταχύτητα που έχει ο κοίλος δίσκος. Οι δύο εσωτερικοί τομείς ευρίσκονται σε επικοινωνία ροής μεταξύ τους στην περιφέρεια, κατά το γενικά κυκλικό διάφραγμα.
