999,227. Vehicle radiator arrangement. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. Dec. 11, 1963 [Dec. 14, 19621, No. 49030/63. Heading B7H. In a front wheel drive vehicle with an in-line engine 11, gear-box 12 and differential 13, the engine 11 is offset and/or inclined relative to the vehicle central longitudinal vertical plane and the radiator 17 is offset and/or inclined in the opposite sense and arranged obliquely of the vehicle as seen in plan view. The fan 16 which is preferably level with the front of the engine and is driven by belt 21, directs air through cowling 22 containing guide vanes.
