884,792. Motor vehicles. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. Oct. 7, 1960 [Oct. 8, 1959], No. 34464/60. Class 79(3). A liquid cooled internal combustion engine 17 is disposed in a commercial motor vehicle beneath the front seat 1 and the radiator 8, fan 10 and fan drive 11 and associated circulating pump 13 for the cooling medium are disposed separately from the engine at the very front of the vehicle such that the radiator and its accessory units are situated in front of the front axle while the engine is situated behind the front axle. The cooling medium is circulated through pipes 14 and 16, the pump 13 being driven by a flexible or double jointed shaft 18. The dynamo 20 is driven by a transmission 19. The leaf springs 20 are attached at 21 and 23, the latter being below or behind the centre of gravity of the engine.
