998,190. Structural bars. W. R. ATTWOOD. Oct. 9, 1961 [Oct. 27, 1960], No. 36156/61. Drawings to Specification. Heading E1K. A structural bar comprises two or more flanges at right angles having rows of holes for connecting bolts filled with knock-outs which are removed for insertion of the bolts, the centres of the two rows of holes adjacent the corner between two flanges being spaced the same distance from the corner as the distances between the centres of the holes in a row. Angle irons with two and three rows of holes all equally spaced are shown. Additional sections of the bar shown are square tube, channel and top hat. The distance from the centres of a row adjacent a free edge of an angle iron is the same as the distance from a row to a corner, less the thickness of the metal.
