In a haymaking rake-wheel of the type having a central part 1 carrying the hub and a rim 2 carrying the tines 3, each tine passes through a bearing in the rim and includes a portion 6 disposed inwardly of the rim and secured to the central part 1 and a portion 5 outside the rim, the outside portion including at least one complete loop 4. The portions 6 on adjacent tines have bent-over ends 6<SP>1</SP> on opposite sides of the central disc and are secured thereto by a bolt 7 and washers 8; this holds the rim in fixed relation to the central disc 1. The outermost parts 5<SP>1</SP> of the tine-portions 5 are bent backwardly relatively to the intended direction of rotation of the wheel.
