Abstract

1,008,245. Haymaking machines. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. Oct. 13, 1961 [Oct. 15, 1960], No. 46226/64. Divided out of 1,008,244. Heading AlF. In a rake-wheel, each tine 89, 90 is coupled to a spoke 80 by an intermediate support 87, 88 co-planar with the spoke and the axis of rotation, the tines being torsionally deflectable about the spokes during operation of the rake-wheel. The rake-wheel is shown applied to the haymaking machine described in Specification 1,008,043 and comprises a disc-like hub 77 to which hairpin-shaped double spokes 80 are secured by bolts 82 and clamping plates 83. The two spokes protrude through holes 85 in a rim 79 and are connected by inclined supports 87, 88 with tines 89, 90 of different lengths. The tines 89 all lie behind the tines 90 which do not touch the ground. The tines extend rearwardly in relation to the direction of rotation 97 of the wheel.
