Abstract

1,008,244. Haymaking machines. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. Oct. 13, 1961 [Oct. 15, 1960], No. 36757/61. Heading A1F. In a rake-wheel type of haymaking machine a guide-member for the displaced crop is arranged in front of the rearmost rake-wheels. The machine is the same as that described in Specification 1,008,243 but there is additional description of the guide-member 67. It comprises a bar 71, attached at 72 to a chain-casing 66 housing the drive-chains to the rake-wheels 6, 7, and provided with pendant arcuate rods 68, 69 70 extending below and around the casing but forward of the rake-wheels 6, 7. In a modification (Fig. 5) the guide-member comprises an arcuate plate 101 serving the same function. Specification 1,008,245 is referred to.
