990,600. Napkin covers. DALMAS Ltd. April 17, 1964 [April 19, 1963], No. 15493/63. Heading A3V. A waterproof pilch comprises a sheet 1 of synthetic resin material with turned-in portions 7 and 8 welded at 6 to form pockets to receive the ends of a baby's napkin. Extensions 9, 10, preferably of the back waistband 2 are detachably secured to each other by press studs 11a, 11b around the baby's abdomen. The front panel of the pilch is then drawn up and female press studs 12b-15b engaged in male press studs 12a-15a. The rear waistband 2 and side hems 4 and 5 are elasticated, preferably by having elasticated strips sewn into them. The seams of the pilch may be heat-welded or sewn with non-absorbent thread.
