Abstract

1,058,207. Elasticised panties. OLGA CO. Sept. 18, 1963 [Apr. 29, 1963], No. 36804/63. Heading A3V. An elastic pantie comprises a body with an overlying panel tapering to a crotch piece and connected to the front and rear of the body to provide leg openings which elastically fit the wearer. The body 10 has the front panel 13 attached to the waist of the body and sewn thereto along side seams 12. The crotch piece 19 is attached to the rear bottom edge of the body. The elasticised threads of the body and panel extend at right angles to each other. A flexible crotch piece 24, which may be inelastic, lines the crotch piece 19 and is sewn to the crotch piece 19 and to the free front edge of the body 10. The crotch piece 19 has an edge lining which continues as an edge lining 22 of the bottom edge of the body.
