Abstract

989,145. Seed sowing machines. E. CAILLIEUX. July 26, 1963 [Aug. 7, 1962], No. 29661/63. Heading A1D. A seed sowing machine comprises a grain distributing conduit 2 leading to the lower end of a share 1 and a fan 8 having an outlet pipe 2 connected to the upper end a1 of the conduit 2 and having an inlet pipe b2 connected to a pipe 10 the end 10B of which is situated adjacent the lower end 2c of the conduit which is provided with perforations 14. Seeds are fed to the conduit by means of a wheel A provided with cells Aa, seeds being ejected from the cells Aa by means of a toothed wheel P. A flap 6 may open to release seeds if they jam at the entrance 5. Specification 937,519 is referred to.
