The nozzle of an apparatus for spraying molten pulverulent material comprises a barrel 1, Figs. 1 to 4, combustible gas passages 4, and passages 3 for a conveying gas (e.g. air) and powder. Fig. 1 shows the inlet end and Fig. 2 the outlet end of the nozzle while Fig. 3 is a section through A-A and Fig. 4 a section through B-B on Fig. 2. The external circumferential surface of the barrel may be suitably slotted to permit air cooling of the nozzle.
