A packing case has end panels B of "hardboard " secured to frames A, side sheets C, also of "hardboard" secured to the upright members of the frames A, upper and lower battens D, E and one or more vertical crossbattens F secured to the sheets C, and a top H and bottom G secured to the end frames A and upper and lower battens D, E. The members of the packing case are secured by large headed nails and may be further reinforced by steel bands J, K.
