984,777. Barrel tilting stands. HALL GARTH STEEL PRODUCTS (SUNDERLAND) Ltd. Oct. 30, 1963, [July 30, 1962], No. 29190/62. Heading B8E. A stand for tiltably supporting one or more barrels comprises side structures 1, 2, and if required, similar intermediate structures 3, braced by a lower front member 10 and an upper rear member 8 and mouting a tiltable barrel supporting frame 12 having side members 15, 16 pivoted on bolts 17 and front and rear cradle members 13, 14. The rear member 8 or stop members 11 prevent rearward tilting of the frame while the forward tilting can be adjustably arrested by a pin 22 insertable in sockets 20, 21. The frame 12 may be provided with a removable third transverse member to support smaller barrels. The member 10 may be an angle iron forming a step to aid installation of a full barrel while in use a lug 18 engages its front rim.
